Mobile guides ride Segway “chariots” before a presentation at city hall in Rome

Mobile guides ride Segway “chariots” before a presentation at city hall in Rome November 6, 2009. Currently in the city a common complaint from the hundreds of thousands of tourists who look over the ancient Roman ruins every month is that the information available for the sites just isn’t good enough. Despite the use of guide books visitors are seen trawling through literature trying to find out where they are or what bus they can find to the next destination. But now about 60 mobile tourist guides will be in permanent service around Rome’s main tourist spots, trying to help visitors to make their way thorough the Italian capital.
